"I’m dreaming of a White Easter, unlike the ones I used to know…"

But, what does this new lyric, destined to become a classic, have to do with education?

The answer, in keeping with the mystery of the holiday is, "Not much and a lot."

The song revision was prompted by a news item where a Rhode Island school district superintendent has renamed the "Easter Bunny."

The lyrics were also prompted by the cold snap that much of our nation experienced this spring (2007).
